Slide Guitars of the Early 20th Century
The popularity of Hawaiian music and in particular the "slide" style of playing brought on a vast number of guitar manufacturers to make round, square and hollow neck instruments, the most popular being the Knutsen-inspired Hollow Neck by Herman Weissenborn. Other makers such as Regal made instruments for many other companies.
I have gathered up a few of the many slide guitars of this time period and included them on my website for interest's sake.
